Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality control and testing per customer specifications
- Conduct testing and collect production performance data in an effort to support non-routine quality checks
- Absorb with Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations when products are considered as non-conforming, as well as implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Update RMA’s in company’s ERP system when requested
- Attend meetings and trainings when necessary to support quality control activities and initiatives
- Complete required paperwork as needed
- Work safely, and keep work areas clear, and organized; maintains housekeeping standards
- Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience
- Quality experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
- Business correspondence and interpersonal skills, as well as computer skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Physical demands include regular sitting, standing, walking, handling objects, and lifting up to 40 pounds
