1st Shift Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality control and testing per customer specifications
  • Conduct testing and collect production performance data in an effort to support non-routine quality checks
  • Absorb with Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations when products are considered as non-conforming, as well as implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Update RMA’s in company’s ERP system when requested
  • Attend meetings and trainings when necessary to support quality control activities and initiatives
  • Complete required paperwork as needed
  • Work safely, and keep work areas clear, and organized; maintains housekeeping standards
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 to 5 years of related work experience
  • Quality experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Business correspondence and interpersonal skills, as well as computer skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Physical demands include regular sitting, standing, walking, handling objects, and lifting up to 40 pounds
