1st Shift Production Supervisor

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement weekly forecasts to meet production, quality and safety objectives.
• Cross functionally coordinate with site departments to bridge communication between upper management and their team, relay important information, communicate policy or procedural changes.
• Maintains workflow schedule to respond to internal production requirements including on-time delivery, cost of poor quality and process improvements.
• Balances workloads while addressing any changes or requests from team members.
• Enforces company policies of conduct and safety while initiating disciplinary action when necessary.
• Manages the overall talent management of the production team including interviewing, hiring, staffing levels, and ongoing training of Team Members; planning, assigning work, and directing daily work priorities; appraising annual performance reviews; setting goal objective with emphasis of a rewarding culture; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Manages team attendance and performance issues through problem identification and successful mediation of disputes.
• Performs continuous process improvement activities aimed at improving safety, efficiency, quality and costs with measurable results.
