About the Role

Set up and/or operate any equipment in order to produce product that meets quality and production specifications, maintain the machine systems, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot common machine/quality problems.

Responsibilities

• Operate tubewinders at or above production standard.
• Operate spoolers at or above production standard.
• Operate pan press at or above production standard.
• Operate palletizer at or above production standard.
• Operate Interfold at or above production standard.
• Operate cartoner and casepacker.
• Perform material handling for all areas of operation.
• Perform metal prep at or above production standard.
• Perform quality check at least once each hour and record results on the Daily Quality Inspection Report.
• Monitor process, correct jams, and other problems that occur.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of line to GMP standards by removing cartons, trash, dust, and debris.
• Troubleshoot minor quality and machine problems; communicate complex problems to maintenance.
• Identify and complete forms necessary to provide info on substandard material.
• Lubricate machinery as needed.
• Any other duties as requested or required.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand ten hours (twelve during busy season) and walk up and down steps.
• Able to remove and replace mandrels.
