1st Shift Production Lead- Debone

Key Responsibilities

• Follows direction of Production Supervisor to assign and instruct personnel of daily production duties.
• Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to supervisor regarding any issues or problems that may arise during daily production.
• Helps coordinate daily set-up of equipment to ensure the line is prepared to run on time.
• Complete required checks and measurements, record accurately.
• Aid in training and developing staff to ensure a quality product.
• Aid in new hire ergonomic evaluations and performance evaluations.
• Position is required to work before department start time in order to assist with area set-ups.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen and pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to use basic math and typing skills.
• Willing to work overtime and flexible shifts as required.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities. Must be able to work in damp and cold environments for long periods of time Must be physically capable of working extended hours if needed and in a wet environment, standing for long periods of time, and operating processing equipment.

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements

• Work is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities. • The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
