1st Shift Packager, Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm

Responsibilities

• Receive finished parts and visually inspect them for major defects or nonconformities.
• Mark parts per planner or customer specifications and pass them to Quality for inspection.
• Pack approved parts according to specifications, ensuring packaging meets inspector approval.
• Set aside packed parts for shipping.
• Prepare and perform packaging as required by customer and in-house specifications (e.g., bags, bubble wrap, foam).
• Complete proper documentation for each manufactured part.
• Identify and package completed parts per customer specifications.
• Mark all parts prior to final inspection.
• Obtain approval from an inspector prior to shipping parts.
• File paperwork in appropriate places.
• Maintain a regular and reliable schedule as set by the supervisor according to handbook guidelines.
• Abide by all safety, quality, personnel, and other applicable policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned for the good of the department and company.
• Conduct specification testing per customer and certification requirements.
• Actively engage in the department’s 6S program and complete all necessary paperwork.

Requirements

• No specific formal education required.
• No specific prior experience required.
• Ability to use common office software systems, data entry, and ERP systems.
• Royal forklift certification required.
