About the Role
Packages finished food products at the end of the manufacturing process in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant. The environment is wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F. Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities, lifting in excess of 20 lbs, kneeling, bending, walking, and standing for long periods are required. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Checks for correct packaging boxes and containers.
- Ensures product date and weight are within established guidelines.
- Seals filled product packages and boxes.
- Examines containers, materials, and products to ensure packaging meets company specifications.
- Removes defective products or packages from the production line.
- Assembles product containers on an assembly line.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working with people, items, and equipment that are at the facility.
Requirements
- Production or assembly experience is preferred.
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Pay
$17.15 - $19.04 hourly (non-exempt).
