About the role
Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. You’ll be on your feet for the duration of your shift and you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds, but there’s no experience required—we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. It’s hard work, so we’ll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency—the better you perform, the more you earn.
Responsibilities
- Handle and process warehouse packages in a distribution center environment.
- Work in extreme cold or hot conditions as required by the job.
- Read, write, and communicate in English to follow instructions, complete paperwork, and operate equipment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Successfully pass a drug test and background check.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
Pay
Starting at $20.13/hour. Plus, earn two pay raises in your first year.
Schedule
- Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off.
- 1st Shift: Sun 6:20 start, Mon 6:50 start, Tues 8:20 start, Wed 6:50 start, Thurs 6:50 start (end time may vary based on work volume).
