1st Shift Material Handler

About the role

As a Material Handler, you’ll be part of our Distribution team located in East Longmeadow, MA. You’ll receive product from manufacturing, pack it accordingly, and process it through our system to ship out to customers.

Responsibilities

• Verify product and quantity for all product using the paperwork and computer
• Prepare skids for shipment and load into appropriate trucks as needed
• Perform cycle counts as required in Distribution
• Operate various equipment such as hand trucks, lift trucks, shrink wrapper, and hand strappers
• Ensure orders are packed to avoid damages to our customers
• Input data into the computer
• Load containers/trailers as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience picking and packing materials
• Experience operating necessary PIV equipment
• Willing to work extra hours or different hours as needed

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $19.91 to $20.92, depending on job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and local wage requirements.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
