Responsibilities
- Load or unload materials from or onto trucks, pallets or shelves
- Under direction of supervisor and others, perform various material handling functions in the production plant
- Work safely and report any unsafe working conditions or practices to management
- Suggests and assists in process improvements which assures safety, quality and efficiency is built into the process
- Other work assigned by management for business reasons
Qualifications
- Several years of fork lift experience
- Good understanding of safe practices
- Good organization and housekeeping skills
- Detailed, conscientious, logical, and understands the importance of quality
- Complete understanding of the quality of finished product to meet customer expectations
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds as heavy lifting may be required at times
- Aligns with the Snap-on mission statement
- Wears required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
