1st Shift Machine Operator
About the role
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines to cut and build rollers, performing various machine shop and mold press operations, detecting defective materials, and maintaining a clean work area.
Responsibilities
- Measuring and setting up machines to manufacture a high volume of parts
- Performing machine shop and mold press operations to support Assembly
- Detecting defective materials and questionable conditions and reporting to the manager
- Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition
- Following safety regulations
- Performing preventative maintenance on machines
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Ability to use a band saw, hand tools and calipers and perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, deburring, molding, and all bench operations
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of standard and metric measurements
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Job Conditions

Pay
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
