About the role
Quad is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their CR/T team in Hartford, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical processing and manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, augers, pneumatic systems, and other industrial machinery.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Install new equipment and support facility improvement projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
- Partner with operations personnel to maintain safe and efficient production.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Average salary range: $28.00 – $32.00 / hour, based on relevant experience and work history.
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, with overtime as business needs require.
- Experience Required: This is an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position. Candidates should have an Associate's degree in a related field or five or more years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
- Experience Required: Experience rebuilding rotary vane pumps.
- Skills Required: Strong skills in pipe fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and blueprint reading.
- Knowledge Required: Familiarity with metric measurements and mechanical tolerances.
- Knowledge Required: Basic understanding of industrial electrical theory and safe work practices.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights and safely operate high-lift equipment. Must have, or be willing to acquire, basic hand tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
- Experience Preferred: Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience Preferred: Experience with ink, resin, or chemical processing equipment.
