1st Shift- Forklift Opr PR06- Live Hang- Clarksville Plant

Job Responsibilities

• Rough Terrain Forklift operator is responsible for transporting full/empty cage modules to & from cage dump and live haul trailer.
• Ensure that cages are in good repair prior to placing them back on trailer.
• Ensure Tyson Animal Welfare policies are being followed.
• Stop and lower forks when pedestrians are on the loading pad.
• Maintain steady pace to keep up with line speed.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications/ Skills

• Maintain & inspect their equipment and report any deficiencies to management.
• Special Skills Required: Good communication skills Requires a Tyson Rough terrain forklift license. Operators are required to inspect their equipment daily. Trained in Tyson Animal Welfare policies. This position requires the use of steel toe shoes. The physical ability to sit throughout the day. Step on/off a forklift safely.

Environmental Factors

• Must be able to work outside in the elements.
• Must be able to maintain safety procedures during wet/icy conditions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 3-month Operator experience within the last 10 years listed on the application.
• Experience can be listed from a combination of employers if it is at least 3 months 365 days minimum rehire waiting period 3 Time Rule.
