About the role
This position is responsible for completion of the robotic weld process adding material to various engine blocks, heads, and components to be machined back to quality standards by way of the remanufacturing process. Primary responsibilities include operation of Fanuc Robot flame spray cell, Fanuc Robot blaster cell, shaker, and complete quality checks. Responsibilities
- Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures.
- Operate robotic welding process.
- Operate hoist, air tools, hand tools, grinders, and slaggers.
- Operate robotic cells.
- Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers.
- Adhere to established work rotation plan.
- Complete training matrix for each rotation position.
- Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions.
- Other tasks and/or duties as requested.
- Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput.
- Install and assemble components for heavy‑duty trucks.
