Tasks And Responsibilities

• Uses gauges, markers, fixtures, jigs, calipers or any other measuring device to ensure parts meet customer requirements.
• Supports and aids in the Quality of parts per line(s).
• Completes part quality checks in compliance with the standard for each model.
• Supports the review and disposition of defective parts.
• Supports confirming check sheets are complete.
• Understands and performs testing as directed by the Quality team.

Safety & Environmental

• Promotes a safety first attitude and provides a safe work environment by obtaining knowledge and following all required OSHA regulations.
• Captains safety and environment repair activities.

Quality

• Assist to ensure that parts knowledge and training is completed where needed.
• Follows work instructions and point cards and other direction as given.
• Ensures quality requirements and packaging requirements are met.
• Ensures associates understand and follow all change point procedures and complete all required documentation.

Delivery

• Ensures the accuracy quantity and labeling of containers as they are packed for shipment.
• Communicates to production management any concerns regarding shipping.
• Makes use of pallet jacks for material movement.

Reporting

• Supports Business Plan Targets and monitors measurable goals based on Business Plan objectives.
• Reports quality issues to quality department and production issues to Manufacturing department.

Preferred Skills

• Blueprint reading, hand tools use, Measuring tools experience.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build friendly work relationships.
• Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office programs.

Minimum Experience & Preferred

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in related field 2-5 years Astemo experience (desired).
