1st shift Fill Stick Pour-Off

About the role

Pours completed batches into molds, imprints with proper number, counts and/or assembles stick assortments, and packages molded hot sticks per instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pour completed batches into molds
• Imprint batch with proper number
• Count each batch and record on batch ticket
• Package sticks for shipping to distribution center
• Maintain neat and orderly work area

Requirements

• Basic math/measurement skills
• Basic reading and comprehension skills
• Acceptable Munsell color test score
• Ability to determine correct processes regarding standard Hot Stick Pour off procedures as instructed in initial training
• Ability to work without continuous supervision and complete assigned projects

Qualifications

No previous experience necessary.

Physical demands

• Regularly required to stand and use hands to grasp, handle or feel
• Occasionally required to walk, bend, stoop, talk, and/or hear
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Work environment

The work environment is typical of a paint manufacturing facility. The employee has exposure to extremely hot liquids and equipment and must use caution in performing duties.

• Number of hot sticks poured daily
• Accuracy of hot stick pouring, imprinting, and packaging
• Appearance of work area
