Role Overview

Endress+Hauser is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler to join the Temperature+ System Products team in Greenwood, Indiana. This role is part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering world-class temperature products.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete units or subassemblies at appropriate locations, including programming transmitters and using laser
  • Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operations
  • Conduct calibration for devices as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory and notify supervisors of adjustments or scrap
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and tools required to accomplish daily tasks
  • Participate and assist with cross-training employees on production processes where applicable
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area in conjunction with 5S Lean concepts
  • Use SAP and ABAKUS software systems to look up or enter information
  • Adhere to safety guidelines for the work area
  • Determine the correct packaging for each device
  • Pack devices ensuring no damage during shipment
  • Perform all functions to ensure highest quality and value of delivery to the customer

What We Expect From You

  • Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
  • Able to use hand tools, power tools and operate machines
  • Able to follow written and verbal directions
  • Can read and understand basic drawings, diagrams and production orders
  • Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related fabrication experience or equivalent professional training
  • Must be detail-oriented
