1st Shift - Cope - Carlson Clamp - Class 2

Principal Functional Responsibilities

• Part of a team responsible for chopping/staging parts for assembly, operating equipment in the miter door cell, and moving material.
• Must be safety conscious and maintain good housekeeping habits.
• Must be detail oriented to avoid scrap and meet quality standards and production goals.
• Willingness to perform additional tasks as needed for department success.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast-paced, detail-oriented environment (preferred).
• Two to three years of work experience.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Ability to distinguish colors and species.
• Read a tape measure and caliper.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
• Teamwork and self-starter skills.
• Prolonged standing, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling carts.
• Hand dexterity and strength.
• Flexible scheduling, including weekends.
• Regular attendance required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions.
• Bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling carts.
