1st Shift CNC Operator (Trainee)

About the role

MacLean-Fogg is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a 1st Shift CNC Operator (Trainee) in Saegertown, PA. No prior CNC experience is required; we provide hands-on training in machine operation, safety practices, quality standards, and production processes. Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training on CNC machining and manufacturing processes
• Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished parts
• Perform basic machine support tasks and monitor production operations
• Learn to use measurement tools and perform simple quality inspections
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principles
• Report safety, quality, or equipment concerns promptly
• Support production and team goals as assigned

Requirements

• No CNC experience required; we will train the right candidate
• Ability to learn and follow detailed instructions
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Basic math and measurement skills preferred
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, oil, and vibration
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (first shift, full-time, on-site)
