1st shift- Bullet Line Toolsetter

About the Role

Set up, operate efficiently, and maintain Sierra Bullets bullet presses.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times.
• Strictly adhere to all Company SOPs and policies.
• Operate assigned production area daily to established standards of quality and productivity.
• Resolve production problems in a timely manner in assigned production area while improving quality and productivity.
• Provide clear and consistent communication with the Bullet Lead and Production Supervisors regarding all activity and issues relating to the assigned production area.
• Accurately report all production-related information on a timely basis using computer or manual forms.
• Train new Bullet LTS as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work closely with individuals at all levels of the company to continuously improve Quality, Cost, and Delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Score of 17 or higher on the Sierra Bullets Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Mechanical background.
• Manufacturing experience of some sort.

Skills

• Ability to work with and communicate well with others while displaying a positive attitude and work environment.
• Ability to use metrology equipment such as scales, calipers, and micrometers.
• Working knowledge of decimals, fractions, and basic mathematics.
• Mechanical ability to troubleshoot tooling and machinery.
• Ability to perform tool and machine part adjustments.
• Ability to perform close tolerance and detailed mechanical work.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 30 lbs.
• Able to stand, twist, stoop, kneel, and bend for long periods of time.
