1st shift- Backwash Operator

About the Role

Develop a thorough understanding of back wash and polish equipment and all cleaning procedures for the bullet manufacturing process. Perform chemical testing and analysis required for the wash and polish process. Maintain work-in-process records and inventory logs using a computer. Understand maintenance requirements of equipment in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical testing and analysis required for the wash process
• Use liquid measuring tools accurately
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records
• Perform tool and machine part adjustments
• Exhibit safe work practices and good housekeeping skills
• Report production records using computer systems
• Pay close attention to detail work

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or skilled trades equivalent)
• Mechanical background
• Experience in manufacturing of some sort
• Able to pass forklift certification

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Able to push up to 20 lbs and pull up to 40 lbs
• Able to stand, twist, and bend at the waist for long periods of time
• Able to work at a fast pace when needed
