1st Grade Teacher

St. Paul Catholic School, a co-educational PreK-8 parish school in the Diocese of Trenton serving more than 285 students, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic First Grade Teacher for a full-time position. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to fostering academic excellence while nurturing the spiritual, social, and emotional growth of each child.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
• Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum standards
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to promote student success
• Support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• New Jersey Teaching Certification (or eligibility for certification) required
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Proficiency with educational technology and classroom technology integration
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8-hour workday
