1st Grade Teacher

About the role

The successful candidate will teach 1st grade at McKnight Elementary School, contributing to the district's mission of academic achievement and growth.

Responsibilities

• Establish an elementary program and class environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Provide rich and engaging experiences for students.
• Build effective rapport with students and motivate them to develop necessary skills, attitudes, and knowledge.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and other staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Applicable Pennsylvania Teaching Certification

Qualifications

• Current Clearances: Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Record Check, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
• Pre-employment Physical and TB Test

Pay
