Responsibilities

• Plan and implement effective lessons aligned with state standards.
• Assess student learning through various methods and provide feedback to improve academic performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and report grades and progress to parents and guardians.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• CT teaching certification in elementary education.
• At least one year of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff.
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.

Skills

• Effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of individual students.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
