Responsibilities
- Plan and implement effective lessons aligned with state standards.
- Assess student learning through various methods and provide feedback to improve academic performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and report grades and progress to parents and guardians.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- CT teaching certification in elementary education.
- At least one year of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
Skills
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of individual students.
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
