1st Grade Teacher

Duties

• Instruction & Planning: Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on lesson plans aligned with Utah State Standards in core subjects, including reading, math, science, and social studies.
• Student Assessment: Observe and evaluate student performance to identify strengths and weaknesses; provide individualized support to help students overcome learning challenges.
• Classroom Management: Establish and enforce classroom rules to maintain an orderly, positive, and productive learning atmosphere.
• Communication: Maintain regular and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
• Collaboration: Participate in grade-level team meetings and district-wide professional development to align with school initiatives.
