1st Finishing Operator
About the role
Maintain safety as a top priority while adhering to internal and external quality and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Understand and practice skills including Safety, Housekeeping, Quality, Productivity, and 5S.
- Operate and maintain production equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures, Rework Instructions, Work Instructions, Preventive Maintenance Instructions, Inspection Instructions, Reaction Plans, and Process Set-up Instructions.
- Review and verify the quality of products at assigned processes and provide feedback to Module Team Leader, Quality Specialists, etc.
- Rotate to appropriate operations as assigned and facilitate communications between operations.
- Provide relief to other employees as required and assist Utility Specialist with changeovers/setups.
- Complete Operation Productivity & Scrap sheets and verify accuracy of Total pieces good and Total pieces scrap.
- Provide feedback on process, operations, and downtime.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- One (1) year experience in manufacturing operations preferred.
Skills
Able to lift 30+ lbs. for up to eight hours and push/pull pallet jack with material up to 150 lbs.
