1st and 3rd Shift High Tech Aide or CNA

About the role

AdvisaCare is seeking a top-of-the-line Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant to provide private duty in-home care for clients in the Albion, MI area. We are looking for caregivers who believe each patient is unique and strive to offer customized care that honors individual preferences, choices, abilities, and specific needs.

Available shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, PRN, part-time, and full-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients’ residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Transport and accompany patients to doctor’s offices or hospitals
• Administer simple prescribed medications
• Assist with clients’ personal care activities
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a drug screen and clear background check
