About the role
AdvisaCare is seeking Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant to provide private duty in-home care in the Albion, MI area.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patients' residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to doctors' offices or hospitals
- Administer simple prescribed medications
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
- Absorb and assist with clients' personal care activities
- Absorb and assist with patients' mobility and physical therapies/exercises
- Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass a drug screen/clear background
