1st & 2nd Shift Quality Inspector

About the role

As a member of the quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that seats receive a final inspection prior to shipment to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of EOL/FAM testers, front and rear seat inspections, and blind audit
• Demonstrate knowledge of customer specifications and quality requirements
• Ensure all non-conformances are either immediately repaired and re-inspected, or identified and segregated from conforming product
• Achieve operator certification according to the plant certification process
• Adhere to the standard work instructions (SWI’s), forms, work instructions, and procedures
• Participate in team meetings and understand performance goals and objectives
• Assure safety and quality standards are followed at all times
• Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
• Perform all other duties assigned

Requirements

• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of use of measurement devices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry (preferred)
