About the role
Dinsmore is accepting resumes for our 2027 Summer Program from first-year law students interested in a non-IP Summer Associate position in the following locations:
- Cincinnati, OH
- Columbus, OH
- Louisville, KY
- Charleston, WV
Additionally, our Intellectual Property Department will recruit 1L summer associates for positions in:
- Cincinnati, OH
- Cleveland, OH
- Dayton, OH
- Chicago, IL
- Detroit, MI
- Pittsburgh, PA
- San Diego, CA
A technical background is required for patent positions, and we are looking for students with patent-bar-eligible undergraduate degrees.
Requirements
Interested 1L students must be able to demonstrate:
- High academic achievement
- Excellent research and writing abilities
- Extracurricular involvement and/or employment history (preferably in leadership positions)
- Maturity and the ability to accept responsibility
- Strong interpersonal skills
Pay
The weekly salary range for summer associates is $2,200 - $3,650 and varies by location.
