1L Summer Associates for 2027 Summer Program

About the role

Dinsmore is accepting resumes for our 2027 Summer Program from first-year law students interested in a non-IP Summer Associate position in Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Louisville, KY; and Charleston, WV. Additionally, our Intellectual Property Department will recruit 1L summer associates for positions in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Dayton, OH; Chicago, IL; Detroit, MI; Pittsburgh, PA; and San Diego, CA.

A technical background is required for patent positions, and we are looking for students with patent-bar-eligible undergraduate degrees.

Requirements

• High academic achievement
• Excellent research and writing abilities
• Extracurricular involvement and/or employment history (preferably in leadership positions)
• Maturity and the ability to accept responsibility
• Strong interpersonal skills

Pay

The weekly salary range for summer associates is $2,200 - $3,650 and varies by location.
