About the role
Academic Law Student Interns are assigned to work directly with experienced trial attorneys and assist with a variety of tasks including:
- First-Chair Trial Experience (with eligible bar card status)
- Assistance with formal plea procedures
- Trial preparation
- Research and writing
- Second-Chair assistance with jury selection and jury trials
Interns may also accompany prosecutors to court to observe and help with court dockets, hearings, and trials.
Responsibilities
Interns may be required to complete additional assignments, specific projects, or observations as prescribed by their school or professors.
Requirements
Applicants must be current enrolled and attending an accredited law school.

Schedule
The internship runs from Monday, June 05, 2026 to Friday, July 31, 2026. Interns will work a maximum of 40 hours per week during the summer internship term.
