1733 - General IT Info Systems Tech II

Sigma Defense is seeking a General IT Info Systems Tech II to join our team in San Diego, CA.

Requirements

• 2+ years relevant experience
• Experience with Office, Remote Support tools, and Entra
• Helpdesk/Service desk experience
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Top Secret security clearance or higher (clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate)
• Some college coursework completed from an accredited college or university in a Technology Related field of study

Responsibilities

• Participate in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of our VMware virtualization environment
• Assist in managing switches, routers, and networking devices to ensure a stable network infrastructure
• Contribute to rack-and-stack operations for new equipment installations as needed
• Aid in the administration of user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems and applications
• Respond to user inquiries, assist in troubleshooting, and provide timely solutions to maintain user satisfaction
• Assist in implementing security measures to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks; contribute to regular system updates, security patches, and vulnerability assessments
• Collaborate with Level 1 support, providing assistance in resolving technical issues and incidents; contribute to mentoring junior team members to foster knowledge sharing
• Participate in monitoring system performance, identifying potential issues, and taking corrective actions; contribute to routine maintenance tasks for optimized system performance
• Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations, network topology, and troubleshooting procedures; contribute to generating reports on system performance and incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects, including system upgrades, infrastructure expansions, and technology migrations
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance skillsets and contribute to the team's effectiveness

Pay

$75,000 - $85,000 annually
