About the Role
Sigma Defense is seeking a Project Manager to run multiple DoW projects related to electronic warfare simultaneously. The hired candidate will work with a team of mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software engineers to deliver products in a rapid acquisition environment. Timelines will be tight, so proper planning and execution are critical to our success. Some travel will be required to perform site visits and acceptance tests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly reports to ensure adequate funding, budget, schedule, and contract compliance
- Prepare and support the creation of documents for contract deliverables
- Prepare and assist in preparation of status reports on projects
- Engage with primary Government customers and the COR to fulfill requirements and identify appropriate resources
- Ensure adequate resourcing to support all test and field events before system deliveries, facilitating a seamless transition for the deployed users
- Manage the diverse challenges related to the development of complex systems, as well as the coordination and execution of design projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant Project Manager experience
- PMP Certification is required
- Experience in DoW contracting and rapid acquisition timelines is preferred
- Attentive, organized, outgoing, and good time management skills are preferred
- Capable of thriving both independently and as a collaborative team player
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance (clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study
Pay
$90,000 - $110,000 annually.
