About the role

As an Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer in the Army National Guard, you'll specialize in inspecting, servicing, and repairing aircraft components such as brake systems, rudders, flaps, and landing gear. Your responsibilities also include diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions in hydraulic or pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and use common and special tools
• Maintain facilities for the storage of flammable/hazardous materials
• Disassemble and repair engines
• Repair aluminum, steel, and fiberglass airframes/covers
• Fix hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems

Requirements

• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
