About the role
As an Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer in the Army National Guard, you'll specialize in inspecting, servicing, and repairing aircraft components such as brake systems, rudders, flaps, and landing gear. Your responsibilities also include diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions in hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and use common and special tools
- Maintain facilities for storing flammable/hazardous materials
- Disassemble and repair engines
- Repair aluminum, steel, and fiberglass airframes/covers
- Fix hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems
Requirements
- Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma/GED
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards

Qualifications
- Preference for mathematics and shop mechanics
- Ability to use hand and power tools

Schedule
Training consists of 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
Pay
Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability. Candidates will earn between $200 and $250 per drill weekend, subject to change.
