About the role
Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer II to work under a Senior Software lead to develop new software for the Remotely Operated Tracking Radar #1 at the China Lake Range. This software will enable the new ROTR1 hardware suite to function and support critical T&E and validation missions for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver new software for the ROTR1 radar system
Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Red Hat Linux with real-time extensions
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, or related field of study
- Ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher (clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate)
