Responsibilities

• Implementation of a landing zone architecture through TerraForm to manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security
• Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging TerraForm to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments
• Deploying IaC utilizing Azure DevOps pipelines
• Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions
• Automate processes and infrastructure lifecycle management

Requirements

• Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization
• Experience deploying IaC with Azure DevOps

Qualifications

• Experience in IaC development with Terraform
• Proficient with GIT to perform source code management
• Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail

Skills

• Strong foundational knowledge of the Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure
• Demonstrate an understanding of security concepts including governance and access control
• Basic understanding of azure active directory and integration with on-premises systems
• Network CIDR block and IP address planning as well as vnet gateway for transit routing
• Maintain monitoring and logging azure platform using cloud native services
