About the role

Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Barista Attendant to join their team. Town Pump is a growing company with opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying merchandise.
• Fulfill customer orders for food and beverage items by following STONE HOUSE COFFEE SHOTS recipes for espressos, lattes, frappes, and coffee combinations.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Build positive relationships with customers, suggest products, and assist customers with merchandise location.
• Operate the cash register, giving correct change, scanning credit cards and checks.
• Complete shift paperwork accurately and completely, answer phone calls, clean, and maintain the coffee counter.
• Advise the supervisor of any situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance.
• Use fire extinguisher and other safety equipment as needed.
• Follow vendor check-in procedures.
• Listen, and handle customer complaints.
• Utilize price book, safety manual, and store rest room logs.
• Maintain storefront, customer seating areas, parking, exterior windows, and sidewalks, including shoveling (seasonal).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations.
