About the role
Autumn Lake Healthcare at Braddock Heights is hiring for Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA).
Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs and other health data.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) preferred.
- Certified Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) certification.
- LPN/LVN license (preferred but not required).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of geriatric care practices.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
