Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to be as active in their lives as possible.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, and other personal care tasks.
• Support individuals to medical appointments, banking, community outings, and administer medications.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and medical guidelines.
• Participate in paid New Employee Orientation, CPR/First Aid, PABC, Defensive Driving, Medication Administration Program (MAP), and program‑specific training at the individual's home.
• Ensure safe evacuation of individuals in emergencies.
• Maintain required certifications and comply with Agency policies and DDS regulations.

Qualifications

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.
• Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.
• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer, or school history).
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.
• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.

Pay

$17.50 – $19.00 per hour.

Schedule

Saturday 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.; part‑time schedule of 14 hours per week.
