1236 - Engineering Intern

About the role

MSRC is seeking a part-time candidate to support survivability analysis of emerging Army missile technologies. The candidate will work within a government-owned classified processing space, integrating missile trajectory and signature data into intelligence-based models and simulations.

Responsibilities

• Integrate missile trajectory and signature data into intelligence-based models and simulations.
• Execute intelligence-based threat models and simulations and collect outputs in an organized manner.
• Execute post-processing tools and analysis scripts on resulting data outputs.
• Draw rational conclusions from the results and organize conclusions into deliverable reports.
• Report to the lab analysis lead and interface with government customers.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or other relevant field.
• 0-5 years of experience in relevant engineering or data analysis disciplines.
• Familiarity with MATLAB (required) and Python (preferred).
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux.
• Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain an active security clearance.

Position is contingent upon contract and funding award.
