12-Hour Night Shift Operator

This position reports to the shift process technician.

Schedule

Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM on a 2‑2‑3 schedule (every other weekend off). This is a permanent third‑shift role; there is no opportunity to move to a different shift. Reliable transportation and strong attendance history are required. Overtime may be required as needed.

Pay

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with a pay increase every six months. The pay range for this role is $20.00 – $20.00 per hour (Tiffin, OH).

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficiency to the approved standard
• Inspect items and sort by means of visual inspections to ensure they are defect‑free
• Prep product via deburring and cleaning to meet product standard
• Inspect and pack product in accordance with the standard
• Maintain work area and equipment by cleaning, organizing, and keeping it in orderly condition
• Provide accurate production reporting and scrap counts at the end of the shift
• Communicate with previous shift to receive important job information
• Communicate with Team Leaders and supervisors when there are issues
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate required
• Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast‑paced environment, including long periods of standing
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi‑task
• Ability to lift heavy boxes on a regular basis
• Able to work in a team environment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
