About the role
This position covers therapy services in Sunland Gardens, Fort Pierce North, FL (34947). You will provide treatment in a home setting with the freedom to make your own schedule, accept or decline patient assignments, and collaborate using your clinical judgment. We offer full transparency with detailed payment reports.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats patients in a home setting
- Communicates with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintains daily, thorough documentation of services in the EMR
- Provides your own equipment, including smart devices and a blood pressure monitor
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Actively licensed as a Florida Physical Therapist
- New graduates and experienced therapists welcome
Schedule
This is a PRN (as-needed) role, offering flexibility to choose when you work. PRN therapists are part of an on-call pool and may cover weekend, holiday, or weekday shifts, often with premium pay. While hours may vary based on demand, this role provides autonomy and diverse experiences across ALF and residential home settings.
Pay
Compensation includes up to $110 per evaluation. PRN roles typically offer higher pay rates to compensate for the lack of traditional benefits like paid time off or health insurance.
