About the role

Capstone ISG is seeking independent (1099) property adjusters. Positions are available in Pittsburgh, PA and Albany, NY, with other locations potentially considered. This is a contract (1099) position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct prompt, thorough, and fair investigations by obtaining relevant facts to determine coverage, origin, and extent of loss.
• Document damage and prepare written estimates using Xactimate software.
• Keep the client and the insured informed about claim status with clear, timely, and accurate written or oral communication.

Requirements

• 2+ years handling property insurance claims.
• Active Xactimate account.
• Ability to handle partial and full assignments.
• Commercial and personal lines experience preferred.
• Own transportation, equipment, and software.
• Strong writing and technology skills.
