About the role

As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you’ll create a memorable shopping experience for customers, helping them express themselves through hair, cosmetics, skin care, or nails. We provide the training—you bring your passion and personality. You’ll build relationships, inspire loyalty, and guide customers on their beauty journey.

Responsibilities

• Recommend complementary products and inform customers of promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Enroll customers in our Loyalty program and complete transactions accurately.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values in all interactions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Available to meet scheduling needs of the business.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Apply product knowledge from training to assist customers.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow directions and perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items (e.g., shipment or record boxes).
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional irritant chemicals or fumes.
