About the role

As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you’ll create a memorable shopping experience for customers, guiding them through their beauty journey with expertise in hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails. We provide the training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend complementary products and inform customers of promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Educate customers about and enroll them in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and report inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Availability to meet scheduling needs of the business.
• Clear communication with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge training to assist customers.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Follows direction and performs additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional irritant chemicals or fumes.
