About the role

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will focus on creating a memorable shopping experience for customers by focusing on one primary objective: helping customers through their beauty experience. This includes assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, and recommending additional and complimentary products.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty among customers.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products to customers.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• One year of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Able to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
