About the role

Senior Architect role requiring 15+ years of experience implementing large enterprise integration projects across diverse environments. This position demands an in-depth understanding of SOA, microservices, cloud, and event-driven architecture solutions for integration with other systems. The role involves application performance tuning, security hardening, capacity planning, and participating in platform decision-making between IaaC, PaaS, and SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture for integration across diverse business and technical domains.
• Work hands-on and assist the development team in building application, integration, and reporting solutions while resolving complex issues.
• Design data entities and support the development of protocols across various systems to meet integration needs.
• Devise testing approaches and develop test scripts for system integration, data, and reports testing.
• Review team deliverables to ensure they meet client and contract expectations; enforce high standards for quality.
• Coordinate analysis and design sessions, defining application, data, integration, and reports design, then translate these into technical designs for successful implementation of Service Bus architecture.
• Manage effective communication and coordination with all teams to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Assess infrastructure requirements and capacity.
• Apply extensive knowledge in distributed system architecture and messaging frameworks.
• Develop proof of concept with emerging technologies.
• Evaluate various technologies and choose the optimal stack for given project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in the IT domain.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java 11+.
• 10+ years of technology project implementation/development experience.
• 5+ years of architect and design experience in large-scale enterprise applications.
• 2+ years of demonstrated team/project leadership experience in solution architect, technical lead, or similar roles.
• 2+ years of experience in event-driven architecture application design.
• 2+ years of experience in multi-layer application design and development.
• 2+ years of experience in Java reactive programming (e.g., Spring WebFlux or Project Reactor).
• 4+ years of experience in microservices framework and development.
• 2+ years of experience in AWS services design and development.
• Extensive knowledge in presentation, business, and data layer concepts.
• Experience in mobile app and backend service integration.
• Experience in business-to-business service design and development.
• Excellent knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus architecture and its applicability across diverse integration concepts such as caching, Pub-Sub architecture, OAuth, and JWT.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot application development based on Oracle/NoSQL backends.
• Excellent knowledge of SOA, microservices, and cloud concepts with specifics on Oracle.
• Understanding of integration concepts such as Service Oriented Architecture and integrating MQTT, cloud, webhook, and WebSocket channels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing large-scale, complex integration or migration projects.
• Experience in performance evaluation and tuning of microservices, AWS Cloud, and monolithic applications.
• Strong communication, customer relationship, organizational, and follow-through skills; excellent presentation and technical documentation abilities.
• AWS Cloud implementation knowledge is mandatory.
• MQTT/IoT integration experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of telematics services is preferred.
• Knowledge of AI tool integration is preferred.
• Knowledge of billing platforms is preferred.

Pay

Salary range: $118,650 to $182,710
