Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with new customers and COIs.
- Develop and implement the proactive market development process.
- Deepen relationships and capitalize on opportunities to expand business; refer clients to other bank areas for additional needs.
- Generate leads and referrals from a variety of sources through networking in the community.
- Develop a thorough familiarity and knowledge of the I.R.C. Section 1031 Exchange regulations.
- Develop an understanding of the elements of all variations of a 1031 exchange; i.e. Simultaneous, Build to Suit, Forward, Reverse and Personal Property.
- Interpret and apply the regulations to complex transactional issues.
- Generate and maintain a database of contacts.
- Participate in industry activities, attend educational seminars, seek and schedule presentations where opportunities for business may exist.
- Represent the company in various community and civic functions and events to further enhance the company's image and develop additional business.
- Reinforce the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers, COIs and employees.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two or more years of sales experience.
- Prior experience in 1031 related fields such as real estate, escrow, title, legal, paralegal, accounting or CPA offices.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational/time management skills.
- Strong public speaking and presentations skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
- Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage as required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
Target Compensation
$84,395 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus.
