10019 Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing the store team, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and support associates in achieving sales and KPIs, ensuring brand standards are met, and resolving customer issues.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop the team, recruit new hires, and maintain positive relationships with associates and managers.

• 30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory and payroll, and execute digital strategies.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team of associates

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
